Ok y’all, I promised some words from on high to come down from AA Michael - (AA = Archangel) so here goes. Remember last week how he showed up brandishing a big ole sword? Which I felt at first was a bit un-angelic, but now I’ve learned more about Mike and his magic; it turns out the sword is critical! He said:

It’s important to cut out things that are not needed.  Cut out anything that does not serve. Anything that leaks life force.

Woof. That got my attention; but here’s more. Everything you see in bold came to me in a meditation ‘through’ Mr. Archangel Michael.

*Do not waste time attending to things that are not meaningful. 

I’m looking at you Instagram! And not that things up there are all life-force-sucks but gosh, after a small percentage of time in that scrolling realm, it happens. We all feel it, and I’m really just using it as an example because it’s so obvious. The question is - what are you attending to? Our attention is our most profound currency. You pay with your heart. Do it carefully.

*Do what is of service to your true purpose. Career, art, etc - GO DO IT! Quit wandering around wondering if you should. You should. Go do it.

I understand this, I’ve been stalling a bit with my new life stuff - not jumping in with both feet. In fact my grandmother came through in a reading this morning and said as much. Tick-tock! Get to it! Which is funny to me because time isn’t so much a thing on the other side….but they know it is here. And she was pretty fierce about it, pointing to her watch she said, That’s enough dilly dally Selle!* So in the spirit of that, you should know that Season 3 launched today for the podcast Medium Curious! *What is of service to the community? Your larger community, your tiny community. How do you serve your people?

When I left my full time filmmaker babe job I thought, This will be great! I can finally donate my time to important causes…and I’m not proud to say I haven’t yet. But, I do know how I serve my family, right now it’s a shit-ton of Dr appointments and health shenanigans. It’s making beautiful dinners, it’s showing up with a smile even if my face doesn’t wanna. I’m proud of that. But I hear you Mike, I’m on it - I’ll donate my time. Funny, he just poked me with that shiny sword to remind me that I am of service in my recovery community in a big way. Ah, thanks Mike. That’s true!

*If it feels like you are being dragged down by someone, something - you are. Make a powerful choice at that point and decide who you want to be.

Whoa, right!? That’s some serious sword brandishing. So good. Decide who you want to be in the situation. Wanna stick with the victim plan? Wanna stay in the drama? Or GTFO. He has an excellent point.

Also, I got this awesome book called the Miracles of Archangel Michael by Doreen Virtue while also experiencing miracles myself this week. One chapter is devoted to the fact that sometimes when, Michael is near you, you feel hot. Which, as a woman in menopause, made me laugh. I’m like - UH, is he stalking me? But it also made me smile cause last week the byline on the first essay about him was “He’s kinda hot” - hahaha, guess it’s true! Also, lately I’ve been getting a really hot neck a lot and I hadn’t yet figured out if that was guides or who or what, but as I write this now, I know. AA Mike’s here, and to be clear - I feel very fortunate to feel his presence.

Last week after reading my substack a friend texted to say he meditated and pulled a card, and guess who showed up?

YES! The man, the myth…

He’s a legend. And that’s it y’all, the dude can perform miracles - like any saint or enlightened  master - the miracles can flow if we are open and we ask. Nothing more required. No fancy language. No fancy beads. Just ask - and - then you know what my sweet friends? You will receive.
